Why You Should Not Be Eating At The Computer?

If you have a no-meals-at-the-computer rule, good for you!
Eating at the computer is not good for several reasons such as because of the bacteria that may accumulate there, or because you can actually end up spilling something on the keyboard (this is not so bad when it’s a desk top you’re talking about, if it’s a lap top, you will most likely need professional help).
Another reason why you should not eat at the computer is that you can lose track of how much you eat and probably over eat, same as eating when watching TV.
Research has shown that people who eat when watching TV do so unconsciously , tend to over eat and are far more likely to be obese than those who do not.
Similarly, if you eat when at the computer, you are also likely to do it unconsciously, whereas nutritionists and other experts advise that one should eat slowly and consciously, enjoying the textures and flavors of the food that you eat.
This has several advantages: this gives you the feeling of satiety quicker and is also good for digestion so in the long run sitting at the computer and eating is likely not good for your health or your weight come to that!
