The Ergonomics Of Sleep – What Kind Of Mattress Should You Use?

Not getting enough rest or not getting enough restful sleep at night has been associated with several problems at work.

  • It should be able to distribute pressure evenly thereby aiding circulation in improving the quality of sleep.
  • There should be perimeter edge support.
  • One person’s movement in bed should not affect or disturb the other person, and the mattress should be so designed.
  • Your pillow should also be adjustable and should be properly supportive.
  • The pillow should facilitate good air circulation for breathing.
  • Both the mattress and pillow should be hypoallergenic as possible.
