Technical Support For Safe Computer Use
Posted on Jan 26, 2009 | Comments 1
A computer is a precious tool of data storage.
It is not beyond common knowledge that the machine can condense an entire library in few chips of memory laid over a physically tiny object that can measure a millimeter. Imagine a world without computers today.
If suddenly, each back up were to be eroded, you would be looking at trillion metric tones of paperwork flying at every corner not knowing which to connect with which one.
This is why it is paramount to get better technical support for keeping your computers safe. Let’s see what may be a part of such safety measures.
- First, you must get a proper proxy server in. This is required to firewall your data base. Without fire walling, your computer is open to hackers. Office computers are a minefield of esoteric information. Any proxy running unassigned codes through the server might get the truckloads of such information. This is where it becomes very important to shield the server.
- Moreover, the server system at the top of the pyramid must be able to supervise what maybe going on at all the computers within the office. This is important as people from the higher echelons must always keep a tab of the office workers.
- A proper spam filter is also a must. This prevents unsolicited entry of virus and Trojans that might completely destroy the system in a long run. Such Trojans can interfere with the most intricate functioning of the computer so you must make sure that the correct filters are on.
- This brings us to the most important part. You must always have a tool that can keep a back up of all your stored data. If the window application crashes, there is still hope but what if the hard disk crashes. Have you heard of people who spend their lives building up valuable data and lose it in a flash as they do not have back ups. Window registry tools are one such software which can effectively keep the backup of all such data.
- Even RAM and ROM need to be amply protected or else the data sheets would not take the loads properly. In such cases you would have a huge fissure between the hardware ability and software execution.
- Now, about the all important internet tip; while using the wired router, make sure that you are using the Ethernet cable. A wireless router can be procured with ADSL in-built modem for use over multiple computers. The idea is to connect the wired router and then put in the wireless one. Once the later gets installed, you can plug out the wired router that you had obtained from your broadband operators.
Always keep in mind that what you offer to your computer is what it gives back to you. It is a technological innovation and hence it needs active technical support for its security and durability. No one likes the site of a crashing or a virus-infested system. It simply takes away the magic out of the magic box.
