What Is The Vertical Computer Mouse?

Vertical Computer MouseThe vertical computer mouse is one that is differently shaped and is designed to support the mouse using hand in the position of a handshake and claims to eliminate forearm twisting.

A regular mouse, known as the horizontal mouse, to distinguish it from the vertical mouse, causes your forearm to twist away from its natural position according to the manufacturers of the vertical mouse.

The vertical mouse is considerably higher in height than a regular mouse and has the clicking buttons and the scroll button on the side of the mouse so that your fingers are clicking the buttons on the side of the mouse rather than the top.

They are available in wireless as well as wired or cord options; left and right handed versions are also available. The mouse is quite high so that your little finger will not brush against the surface that it rests on as the other fingers operate the mouse.

The vertical mouse is supposed to be based on an ergonomic design that is designed to relieve wrist and arm pain.

Though some people find that this new design can get some getting used to, many find that it is easy to do so and they are quick to adopt and find that the design offers superior comfort and ease of use. This and other vertical mice are available on Amazon.
