AbleTrack Trackball

AbleTrack trackball is the precision assistive technology computer trackball which is specially designed for the people who are suffering with carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, RSI - repetitive stress injury, or for people who use their fingers or hands limitedly.

It will be more useful for the people who have difficulty in using the normal mouse or who wear thumb, hand or wrist splints when they are using their computer.

The AbleTrack trackball is available with both hand switches as well as with the foot switches. The one and only difference between the hand switches and the foot switches is the foot switches will have a stiffer spring where as the hand switches doesn’t have it.

Hand switches require 10 to 20 ounces to operate, where as the foot switches requires approximately 3 ½ lbs to operate.

Other features of this trackball are:

• It consists of ergonomically removable wrist rest
• 2 large 3 inch by 3 inch removable remote switches are present in this trackball
• Accurate pointing is possible in this trackball as the opto-mechanical technology is used in it
• Variable resolution of it rises from 20 to 6400 DPI for precision or fast movement
• It features large 2 inch trackball in order to promote easy maneuverability
• This trackball uses less space when compared to the normal typical mouse pad i.e. 4 5/8 inches wide x 5 1/2 inches long (wrist rest adds 2 inches to the length) x 1 3/4 inches tall
• It requires USB connector with PS2 adaptor
• It will be suitable for Windows 95/98/ME/XP/NT/2000 or Linux Operating System
