The LED Keyboard, Is It Something You Really Need?

The video below shows you this rather psychedelic LED keyboard, with lit up keys and a very distinctly jazzy aspect. So what really is the deal with LED keyboards, do you need them unless you are the sort who has to have the latest in gadgetry at all costs and the minute anything is launched?

An illuminated keyboard is certainly useful if you plan to be using your computer in complete darkness (either because you are in a room where someone is asleep and won’t let you have the light on or in some cases when happen to be in a situation such as a conference hall etc, where the lights are dimmed). So it does have its uses even if one is not a computer geek then!

Then there is the feature of being able to set each key to a particular color and turn the light off on that key and the keys can feature animated rainbow effect of animated random key colors, which frankly sounds like something that is going to set your head spinning. [ergonomic keyboard]

So while this may well be a fun and trendy thing to have, you may want to question the wisdom of getting something that is likely to induce headache!
